Clean restaurant and great food and service! We were served by Mr. Kevin and he was the nicest! Buffalo soldier was 10/10 and the Cali chicken was 10/10! Better chicken sandwiches than chic fil a! Gluten allergies: they offer gluten free chicken breading, buns, and waffles Brunch- they offer brunch on Saturdays from 11-2 Sundays- happy hour all day!

I was visiting Richmond for the weekend and wanted to try a restaurant I don't have at home. After scrolling google maps, I ended up finding this spot. I love a good chicken sandwich. I got the sweet heat with a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken was well seasoned, and I enjoyed the sauce, although I was looking for a bit more spice. They used a fairly large chicken thigh for the sandwich. I'm not a big fan of thigh meat, but if I was, I would have really really liked this sandwich. The (savory) sweet potato fries were so good. I couldn't stop eating them. Overall, a good meal.

Stopped in on a whim with 3 friends for a late Sunday lunch, it completely hit the spot because I had been craving fried chicken. I ordered the half chicken (cooked longer/fried hard)....I wasn't able to swap out my drumstick (hate those) for another piece of chicken but not a big deal. The chicken was flavored well and had the perfect crunch and wasn't dry at all, I used hot sauce like I always do but honestly had no complaints. The Brussels were fresh and were okay but I didn't really taste the honey Dijon but I like Brussels and ate them all. My boyfriend even enjoyed the chicken breast an hour or so later that I took home. I noticed they also have a daily happy hour so I'll have to visit again for that! Adrienne L was our server and she was attentive and checked on us appropriately. My best friend also appreciated she asked her individually about our choice of group or separate checks. Normally servers ask the whole table and we did pay separately but that was a nice touch. Also gratuity was automatically included and they accept Apple Pay (which we wouldn't have known if our server didn't inform us).

I was craving some fried chicken for a while and haven't been back to Hot Chick in a hot minute! Decided to go back for a Friday dinner and was reminded of how good it is!! Freshly fried juicy chicken with a crispy batter that was perfectly crunchy but not too overwhelming. The original fried chicken was already very well seasoned without extra sauces but if you order the chicken meals it comes with any sauce of your choice (and you can get as many sauces as you want)! I got the Caroline BBQ and dry rub on the side. The Carolina BBQ was on the sweeter and mustard-y side compared to regular BBQ sauces. The dry rub was a combination of spices and seasoning that went really well my chicken, fries, and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were also quite yummy! The brussel sprouts were nicely cooked and crispy as well but not too burnt. Topped off the meal with some Nightingale ice cream sandwich (: Our server was really sweet and nice, and she answered a lot of my questions about the menu. Loved the chicken themed decor with colorful murals and tables. Definitely satisfied my cravings and will be back!
